2026.07 Release
- Clearer PDF Download File Names. Downloaded PDF invoices now use the invoice number as the file name when available, making it easier to identify and organize documents after export. If an invoice number is not available, the file name will fall back to the DIN and then the current default naming convention.
-
Invalid lookup values are prevented on save. Document Viewer updates now better guard against invalid values being saved in fields such as Route To and other lookup fields, reducing the chance of incorrect free-form entries being retained.
-
Blank PO Number saves no longer fail. Documents can now be saved successfully when a multi-valued PO Number is cleared, including values cleared through Vendor Name → Vendor Number → PO Number lookup cascades or by directly clearing a PO Number textbox. Existing validation still blocks saves when required by the Header PO Edit & Cascade setting.

2026.06 Release
-
New Global Navigation Bar. We've introduced a redesigned global navigation bar across the DataServ platform. The new header provides a consistent, modern layout and makes it easier to move between application areas, access your profile, and find key controls. The updated design improves usability, aligns with modern SaaS standards, and lays the foundation for additional upcoming improvements.
- For more information about application navigation, please check our help portal: Global Navigation Bar
-
New In-app Notifications. DataServ now includes an in-app Notification Center, accessible via a new bell icon in the navigation bar. When important events occur, such as being assigned as a delegate for a colleague’s Out of Office, you'll receive a notification with the relevant details so you can stay informed without relying solely on email. Unread notifications are indicated by a badge count, and notifications are listed by recency so you can quickly catch up on what needs attention. We will be adding more notifications in the coming releases.
- For more information about Notifications, please check our help portal: Notifications Icon
-
Run AutoVouch Immediately on a Specific Document. Users can now trigger AutoVouch on a single document directly from the AutoVouch Exception Form without waiting for the next scheduled batch run. After clicking "Retry Now," the process runs in the background and you can continue working. When it finishes, you'll receive an in-app notification with the results and a link back to the document and see the AutoVouch Run History. This makes resolving exceptions faster and gives your team more control over when AutoVouch runs.
-
For more information about AutoVouch, please check out our help portal: PO Invoices/AutoVouch

We will be rolling out this feature to clients over the next few months. If you are interested in getting access to this feature sooner, please reach out to your Client Success Account Manager (CSAM).

We resolved an issue that prevented the Next button from working when a user opened multiple documents. Users should be able to navigate documents without being blocked.
-
We addressed an issue where editing a deactivated user account could unintentionally reactivate that user. The system now correctly prevents changes to deactivated accounts, ensuring user status is preserved.
If you have any questions, please reach out to your Client Success Account Manager (CSAM) and / or DataServ Support.
✈️ Out of Office Upgrade
Users will be able to set an out-of-office Start Date, Return Date, and Delegate in their My Profile page, helping ensure documents continue to flow smoothly when team members are away and to resume automatically when they return.
Administrators will be able to view which team members are out of office, when they’ll return, and who their delegate is during that time via the Users List table in User Management.
Any users currently Out of Office should experience no disruption. We will retain their Delegate and assign default Start and Return Dates that they or their administrator can update at any time in My Profile.
For more information on this updated feature, please check out our help pages:
If you have any questions about the new release cadence or the upgraded Out of Office feature, please reach out to your Client Success Account Manager (CSAM) and / or DataServ Support.

See When Users Last Logged In. Admins with access to User Management can now see each user’s most recent login date directly in the Users table in the new “Last Login Date” column. Users can sort by that column and also see it in the CSV export. This makes it easier to monitor activity, clean up inactive accounts, and answer client questions about when users last accessed DataServ.

Poland E-Invoicing Capabilities. In preparation for the Poland e-invoicing mandate that went into effect on February 1, 2026 and will be extended to all B2B transactions on April 1, 2026, clients operating in Poland can now utilize DataServ to receive and handle their e-invoices sent by their vendors.

Faster PO Updates for Single‑PO Invoices. For invoices that use a single purchase order (PO), when the PO number needs to be updated (e.g., PO-12345 to PO-012345), users can now update the PO number in the Document Viewer directly and have the change automatically cascade to all line items. This reduces manual re-keying across multiple lines, helps keep header and line-level data in sync, and preserves a clear audit trail of who made the change and when.

If you are interested in using this new PO Cascade feature, please reach out to your Client Success Account Manager (CSAM) for more information.

-
We fixed an issue where the Auto Coding feature sometimes applied the coding to the wrong document when a user had multiple documents open. Auto coding now applies to the correct document, helping ensure invoices are pre‑coded correctly and reducing manual adjustments.
-
We addressed an issue that could cause short pay behavior to be inconsistent in certain scenarios when processing invoices. Short pay details are now handled as expected, so users can more confidently review and approve short‑paid invoices.
-
We corrected an issue where some users received duplicate email notifications for payment requests. Each payment request will now generate only the appropriate single notification, reducing inbox noise and confusion.
